


You can send your contribution in Word and PDF only. Please send original pictures of yourself in high resolution separately. However, all text and pictures will be transferred into a PDF print proof, to get a uniform layout and to ensure everything can be printed. So the final layout will be different from what you submit.
CALL FOR PAPERS
The ICT Africa Summit 2011 will be held on October 24 – 26 , 2011, at CSIR International Convention Centre in South Africa.
For this reason prospective authors are invited to submit papers, either to the General Tracks and to the Workshops/breakaway Sessions. The papers are categorized as follows:
- General: 10 to 16 pages. After the reviewing process, the accepted papers will be published in a coffee table magazine distributed to all delegates and institutions associated with the summit.
- Workshop/Session Papers: 5 to 11 pages. After the reviewing process, the accepted papers will be published in the Summit Magazine proceedings, as selected by the corresponding Session/Workshop. PAPER SUBMISSION
All PAPERS:
The submitted paper must be proof ready and in either Word or PDF format. To submit a paper, please email to rocky@ikapamedia.co.za
Only papers submitted through the electronic system and strictly adhering to the relevant format will be considered for reviewing and publication. The paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under the responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed by the team to ensure the publication of only top quality contributions.
Please submit together with your paper a brief CV (100 words) of yourself a with a picture.

SUMMIT POLICY
By submitting the paper to THE ICT AFRICA Summit, all authors agree to abide by all THE ICT AFRICA Summit paper submission, publication and presentation policies. Namely, authors confirm that the work is original, has not appeared in literature in any form in the past and will not be submitted to any other venue concurrently with THE ICT AFRICA submission or until it appears in THE ICT AFRICA proceedings (in the case of acceptance). All submission fees will be paid in full before submission of paper and are non refundable.
Furthermore, upon paper acceptance, authors agree to transfer copyright on the accepted paper to THE ICT AFRICA Summit, and one of the authors will register the paper and present the paper at the event if requested. No paper withdrawals can be accepted after Summit pre-registration date or within three months of the actual event, whichever date comes first. Paper withdrawal request can be only accepted in writing through letter or fax to the Summit organizers.
The Summit has no responsibility for any intentional or accidental misuse, misinterpretation, or failure to follow above rules and conditions and holds no legal, civil or other responsibility for opinions, content or utilization of any methods/algorithms expressed in the Summit Proceedings.
